Getting to the Festival

General Information

In the last few months major changes have been made to traffic flows around Felixstowe Town centre and seafront. The area of Hamilton Road from its junction with Cobbold Road to its junction with Orwell Road is being changed to a 'shared space scheme'. Through traffic is discouraged and parking is restricted to delivery vehicles and Blue Badge holders. Bent Hill is also part of this scheme and vehicles are now only permitted to come up the hill. Therefore you can no longer access the seafront and Spa Pavilion via the Town Centre.

Along the seafront itself (Undercliff Road West) the junction with Convalescent Hill has been re-aligned and now has a mini-roundabout. The junction with Bent Hill has been re-designed and narrowed.

Directions

• Follow the A14 East bound to Junction 60 (Dock Spur Roundabout). At this roundabout take the first exit, A154 Candlet Road.
• At the next roundabout take the second exit, A154 Garrison Lane.
• Continue to follow Garrison Lane, crossing two sets of traffic lights, until you reach another roundabout.
• At this roundabout take the first exit, B1082 Undercliff Road West.
• Follow this road to its junction with Sea Road; a small roundabout opposite Felixstowe Leisure Centre.
• At this roundabout take the first exit, continuing to follow the B1082, Undercliff Road West. The Spa Pavilion is at the end of this road.

• For Satnav purposes the Spa Pavilion's postcode is IP11 2DX.
• In view of the general information above be aware of which way your SatNav is taking you.

Parking

• Parking at the front of the theatre is pay-and-display - including Sundays - and there is a further large long-stay car park located at the top of the cliffs in Ranelagh Road. Parking at the back of the theatre is available for competing teams on their DAY OF PERFORMANCE ONLY. At the discretion of the Spa Pavilion management this may be restricted to the cast and crew only.
